Romania Animal Rescue (RAR) is dedicated to providing essential nourishment to dogs and cats in three private shelters. Each month, approximately 500 animals rely on our support for food and sustenance. Your help can make a significant difference in their lives. Please join us in our mission to ensure that no animal goes hungry. Together, we can give them the care they deserve

OUR HISTORY
Seven years ago, we started the most radical project for animals needing medical care in Romania called the "Center of Hope." We began with six employees and now have 23. The center opened its doors in Spring 2017 to provide veterinary care to stray animals and impoverished families in Romania as funding allows.
In Oct of 2022, we opened an extension offering a new castration center and a training center, in addition to existing facilities, which include sterile surgery rooms, spay rooms, digital x-ray, intensive care unit, ultrasound room, isolation wards, and much more. The entire hospital, including the addition, is built with "green technology" (solar panels, electric car charging, etc.), which means that more funds go to help the animals instead of paying high utility costs.
CURRENT NEEDS
This vital work incurs high costs, and we reach out to you for support. Every contribution, regardless of its size, can make a meaningful impact. Join us in this cause by donating any amount you’re able to contribute.
Our primary focus remains on those in need. We also accept complex cases referred from other local charities, ensuring they receive top-notch veterinary care, from routine examinations and minor surgeries to emergency interventions and post-operative physical therapy. In addition, the Center of Hope conducts veterinary training camps, attracting veterinary professionals from around the globe to learn advanced techniques.
