OUR MISSION
Romania Animal Rescue is dedicated to reducing number of homeless dogs and cats in Romania through five main initiatives: Spay/Neuter, Animal Care, Veterinary Training, Education, and Food for Shelters.
Being the second poorest country in the EU, Romania encounters substantial challenges, including one of the largest stray animal populations in Europe.

OUR VISION
Our mission is to create a world where every dog and cat has a loving home, free from abandonment neglect, and where each pet is valued and cared for by a devoted family. We work towards this goal every day.
Surgically sterilized over 148,388 cats and dogs across Romania and over 3,300 worldwide.
Built the Center of Hope, the first multi-functional vet center in Romania, equipped at international standards.

Trained over 500 veterinarians from over 17 countries and organized training seminars worldwide.
CENTER OF HOPE
(Homeless Animal Hospital)
More than eight years ago, we launched the groundbreaking homeless animal hospital in Romania, called the Center of Hope, to provide medical care for animals in need. We started with just six employees and have now grown to over twenty-three. At the Center of Hope, we aim to treat as many dogs and cats as our funding permits.
We welcome all animals—stray or not, abandoned or well-cared-for, purebred or mixed. Our main objective is to offer veterinary care and spay/neuter services for those animals that are homeless and in need.
