Whom We Help

We focus on needy and less fortunate.  Homeless Animal Hospital was established to complement our spay/neuter efforts. The hospital’s critical work, with your support, enables our vet team to provide veterinary care to dogs and cats that are strays, from shelters or those that belong to lower-income families. The animal care we provide ensures that animals of low-income owners are not abandoned or surrendered to kill shelters because their families cannot afford the cost of treatment. Animal care and spaying/neutering also improve the adoption chances for stray animals brought in by rescuers or good Samaritans.

How We Help

The veterinary services provided include vaccinations, spay/neuter, emergency vet care, surgeries, and anything else needed to allow for a full recovery.  We currently provide veterinary care services during our mobile campaigns as well as at the Family Vet clinic in Craiova which allows us to use their facility for our charitable work. Our new Center of Hope near Bucharest is an all-encompassing venue for our work in the Bucharest region of Romania. In addition, our team of vets and techs travel throughout Romania (HOPE Spay-mobile and van ) providing this much-needed service in villages, towns, and cities to promote animal well-being and to help those that love the animals by alleviating suffering and abandonment.

Center of Hope

The new Homeless Animal Hospital project in Bucharest is our new spay/neuter veterinary clinic and hospital.

This hospital is also the center of operations for Romania Animal Rescue as well as the center for the Veterinary Training Camp.

Check out our dedicated Center of Hope website where you can find more detailed information and specifics of this care facility.

Urgent Care

There are many critical cases that are supported by our Animal Care program at our two hospitals, Homeless Animal Hospital (HAH) in Craiova and our Center of Hope (COH) in Bucharest.

We do not turn away any animals in need, but need your continued support to be able to continue this critical program.

Please check out our News page for up-to-date Urgent Care cases and heartfelt stories of all the animals we help.
