CORBU
Corbu was brough in by a good Samaritan. He was found alongside a road, hit by a car. He has shock fractures on both front legs. He also had a pelvis fracture in 3 places and his femoral bone was also fractured.
He had a severe infection which made him severely anemic and with jaundice.
We need your support so we can treat him and all other animals that are brought into our hospital.

Our highly skilled vets have adapted and improved surgical techniques such as "keyhole incision" and "flank spay, which are less invasive allowing for a quicker recovery. These techniques allow the vets to perform many surgeries quickly, safely and following highest pre- and post-surgery standards.
WHAT IS A SPAYATHON
A spayathon is a spay/neuter marathon where the team of our top vets and vet techs, along with local and foreign volunteers work together to spay/neuter dozens of dogs and cats. These spayathons take place in different locations across the world where there is a need and at the request of local communities. The majority of our spayathons take place in Romania where access to veterinary services is virtually non-existent.

OUR PROGRESS
Our priority has and remains spaying. From 2004, we have spayed/neutered over 105,301 dogs/cats, translating into millions of unwanted puppies and kittens saved from a miserable existence on the streets. Spaying/neutering also improves and prolongs the lives of adult dogs/cats by preventing certain forms of cancer, infections and birth complications.

SPECIAL NEWS
A leading animal welfare charity, Battersea Dogs & Cats Home, has awarded us a special grant that will help up spay/neuter 3,157 dogs and cats in 2022.
"We hope that this grant will help make a real difference to the lives of cats and dogs in the community", stated Margaret Hulme, Grants Manager at Battersea.
